The Culinary Hubs. Training of Master Trainers has started a new direction

Thanks to the support of Switzerland and the continued leadership of First Lady Olena Zelenska, the DECIDE Swiss-Ukrainian project implements the direction of vocational education reform, including the culinary direction.

The DECIDE project will support the creation of 3 culinary hubs in the vocational schools of Chernihiv, Lviv and Kyiv regions together with the Ministry of Education and Science and partner RMAs, as well as train teachers for these and other hubs from all over the country!

In July, to implement the task, the Culinary Hubs. Training of Master Trainers has started a new direction.

Among the partners of the direction is a team of the Cult Food Public Association, Yevhen Klopotenko in cooperation with experts of the National Catering Association under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the school food reform team.

Online training for 240 master trainers from all over the country has already begun. Among all the participants of the training, the best 40 will be selected, who will also take part in offline master classes.

Then, utilizing the cascade method, master coaches will bring transformation! Ultimately, they will receive certificates from culinary experts and will go to their fields to teach teachers of vocational schools. And they, later, will teach chefs of educational institutions.

In the coming years, the culinary hubs of vocational schools will be able to cover all school chefs and teachers of vocational schools who train students-cooks.

The Culinary Hubs. Training of Master Trainers Project is implemented within the framework of the DECIDE Swiss-Ukrainian Project, which is being implemented in Ukraine by a consortium consisting of DOCCU and PHZH with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine.

The development and implementation of the Master Trainer Project is a component of the School Feeding Reform Strategy, which will be in effect until 2027.
